The Greater Montreal Maxillo-Facial 3D is a division of the Centre Dentaire de Haute Technologie du Québec. Since in 2006, we takes 3D x-rays of jaws for general dentists, orthodontists and specialists in Quebec requiring advanced diagnostics.
For more information, referring dentists should visit www.maxillofacial3dmontreal.com.
Greater Montreal Maxillo-Facial 3D uses a Planmeca ProMax 3D which captures 2D, 3D and CBCT digital images. These are useful in implantology, endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, dental and maxillofacial surgery, and TMJ analysis. This device provides high quality images while following the ALARA principle for minimal x-ray exposure (As Low As Reasonably Achievable).
Consulting services in oral and maxillofacial radiology are available from Dr. Manon Paquette.
Dr. Paquette obtained her Doctorate in Dentistry from Université de Montréal in 2000 and has received additional training in oral and maxillo-facial radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She then went on to act as Assistant Professor and Chief of Clinical Services, Diagnostic Imaging in the Faculty of Dental Medicine at Université de Montréal for almost 10 years.
Following the acquisition of the SimPlant software, our division has become the first in Eastern Canada to use Simplant Master for processing data from scans.
