She then travelled to Quebec\u2019s far north for three years of service, providing dental care, <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">often in difficult circumstances, to Indigenous populations.<\/span>&nbsp;In 1989, she became clinic coordinator for the Department of Surgery at Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, where she helped future dentists develop surgical skills and build their confidence.<\/p><p>In addition to her surgical practice (implants, wisdom teeth, grafts, biopsies, etc.), Dr. Marcil treats TMJ, helping to rehabilitate dentition proactively, sustainably, and comfortably.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block bold uppercase\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-17a982e2\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-17a982e2\"><p>Continuing education<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vce-text-block\"><div class=\"vce-text-block-wrapper vce\" id=\"el-bf59f1b9\" data-vce-do-apply=\"all el-bf59f1b9\"><p>Always engaged in ongoing education, Dr. Jo\u00eblle Marcil completed implant training at the Institut canadien d\u2019implantologie in 2003. She has also travelled to many countries \u2013 including Germany, Austria, the United States and the Dominican Republic \u2013 to perfect her skills with leading world dentistry experts like Drs. Misch, Kois, Allen, Salama, Steigmann, Landry, and Slavicek. He developed a passion for his studies, graduating at the age of 23 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery and a Master's degree in Biological and Medical Sciences.<\/p><p>He has always been curious to understand the mechanisms behind various dental disorders, and constantly trains to perfect his knowledge and skills in the art of dentistry. He also has a passion for biology and the mechanisms of aging.
